Strategic Health Authority Independent Review Procedures
This one day course provides members of SHA Independent Review Panels with an understanding of the statutory framework and agreed SHA procedures in relation to the Independent Review Panels for Continuing Healthcare.
Outcomes are agreed with the SHA and will be delivered using case studies based on local examples.
This course is suitable for Independent Review Panel Chairs, Local Authority and PCT Panel members, panel advisors, SHA and PCT personnel who need to prepare cases for Panels. Tailored programmes are available for advocacy groups representing and supporting patients and their families through CHC eligibility dispute.
Nomination to Independent Review Panel by a Strategic Health Authority or have an advocacy role.
