By Tram, Rail, or Bus
Altrincham town centre has a combined tram, rail and bus station from which it is a short four minute walk to the FCL office at Garden Place. On leaving the station, cross the Stamford New Road at the zebra crossing (opposite Rackhams store). Walk into the shopping precinct up the pedestrian walkway. Head for the top right hand corner of the precinct (Santander is on your left and New Look on your right). Walk through Stamford Passage which leads to Stamford Street. Cross Stamford Street and walk through the pedestrianised area to Victoria Street. You will see Garden Place in front of you.
By Road
Follow the main road directions on the high level map. FCL's office is located on Victoria Street which is a one way street with entry only from the A56. Garden Place is near the bottom of Victoria Street on the left. Car parking is restricted so follow the detailed street map to find appropriate car parking.
Parking
Unfortunately the car park behind Garden Place is for permit holders only. Pay and Display parking for a two hour maximum stay is available along Victoria Street and Stamford Street and is free after 3pm. For longer stays, there is the Stamford Quarter multi-storey car park close by, situated on High Street or Oldfield Road car park is much cheaper but a little further away next to the Ice Rink (see map). There is a shortcut from this car park to Stamford New Road via the train station and a foot bridge.
